Tee hee! Eyes playing with ya. A word play sorta. I actually have a problem with lighting. Light / Heavy. Get it?
I have had a problem with the lighting ever since I got involved with it, just assisting hanging it. I have always hated(?) the way it was hung and the fact that the strings of Xmas lights are so vulnerable to over zealous tugging.
Way back in March I bought a 30 metre length of led light rope. The led lights are safely housed in a plastic tube. Much ‘stronger’ but damn that’s a long string of lights. I had no idea how or if they would work and if Bill would accept their use.
Last Thursday I got access to the hall just prior to the evening Tango class. I couldn’t hang the rope but I could take it to it’s full length and see where I might use it. I was well pleased and Bill played with the controller to make them flash. He also was pleased.
The hall is closed or rather it is not accessible to me, so I cannot experiment and determine how I will adorn the wall. I am having a frustrating time simulating the arrangement with pencil, paper and ruler. Last night, Sunday, I came up with a workable design and today I spent a scary morning at Bunnings buying the hardware to achieve my goal. I hope.
Oh Beatrice please smile upon my endeavours.
AND! another potential problem is the step ladder. The owners have put a small lockup container in the grounds and are storing extraneous things in it. One of those things is the lightweight step ladder I need. Oh my.
